Frank regularly cleans up two very challenging blocks and reimagines a better way of making our cities cleaner and happier.

November 2018

Receives 501(c)(3) letter confirming nonprofit status for AdoptOneBlock.

End of 2019 - Early 2020

Frank fails and then fails a second and third time to develop the technology solution that would enable a new approach to community engagement he had originally envisioned.

Version 2 of the website launches giving Block Ambassadors the ability to claim and care for a second block.

The third version of the website and mapping application launches with Oregon's first-ever Community Cleanup Calendar freely available to all. Also AdoptOneBlock reveals its heat map of block adoptions (our most requested visual), easily accessible from our landing page.

Hired 2nd full-time employee.

An exciting platform update now allows two people to adopt a block, instead of just one! Block Ambassadors can now Direct Message one another through their AOB dashboards.
